Description
The worksheet packet is a wonderful way to introduce and review 3D shapes with your students. Students will be learning the names of ten 3D shapes: cube, cone, cylinder, hexagonal prism, hemisphere, rectangular prism, rectangular pyramid, sphere, triangular prism, and triangular pyramid. Students will also identify the three properties of each 3D shape: faces, edges, and vertices.
Worksheet Activities:
- 3D Shapes – trace the name of each shape, identify real-life 3D shapes, explain why a 3D shape can or can not roll, and identify the total number of faces, edges, and vertices of each 3D shape.
- 3D Shapes Word Search – trace the name of each 3D shape and then find the word in the word search.
- 3-Dimensional Shapes – write the names of each 3D shape by using the word bank provided.
- 3D Shape Properties –write the name of the 3D shapes and how many faces, edges, and vertices it has.
- 3D Shapes Quick Guide – this is a handout to help your students get a quick view of the names and properties of each 3D shape.
