This is a set of posters that each have a different English Language Arts standard printed on them from the Common Core State Standards. These posters use the Common Core language which I feel is important vocabulary for the students to learn and be exposed to as they will be assessed on these standards. Use these standards as posters, learning targets or for activities in your classroom. They are colorful with fun monsters to attract the kids' attention.

Also included are a few activities sheets for each strand (reading, writing, language, speaking & listening) to help your students unpack the standard. One sheet asks, what does this mean to me? One sheet asks what it means to us? (for whole class, small group, or partner) and one sheet is designed for partner talk. Please download the preview to see what is included.
