Are you looking for a 3rd Grade Color by Choice Mixed Numbers and Improper Fractions Activity? Want to add excitement to your 3rd grade math centers with an engaging fractions activity for your students that offers student choice and allows for continual spiral review? With this 3rd Grade Color by Choice Mixed Numbers and Improper Fractions Activity you can target those needs and more!

What’s included:

a 2-sided worksheet where students will name mixed numbers and improper fractions

a color by code page that includes 2 different images for the students to choose between.

answer key for worksheet and coloring page

How it's used:

To complete this activity students will name each fraction as a mixed number and an improper fraction. They can answer the questions in any order that they want. As they finish a question, they will color that part of their picture of their choice according to the color code above the image.

This color by code activity can be used as a stand-alone activity for math centers or small groups. You can also print this page and add it to a drawer or file folder as part of the entire Fractions Choice Board set. This will give your students 9 different choices of activities to work through when practicing fractions.

These centers can be used in many different ways:
