Daily Math Spiral for the entire year
is an easy, fun way to review the 3rd Grade Common Core Math Standards
on a daily basis. Help your students get the edge they need to be prepared for standardized testing.
Included in this download:
• 20 days of spiral review and preview for your students each month
• Each day contains five questions to address the Common Core Domains
• question #1 Operations and Algebraic Thinking
• question #2 Numbers & Operations in Base-Ten
• question #3 Numbers & Operations - Fractions
• question #4 Measurement & Data
• question #5 Geometry
Each question focuses on the same standard for the entire month to give students plenty of mathematical practice. Rigor also increases throughout the month.
How to Use:
A "math mat" is included that can be printed on both sides of cardstock and laminated for durability. Each student would be provided with the morning math mat and a dry erase marker to create a write on/wipe off morning activity! Use your projector or smart board to display
the daily spiral review page. After the students answer the review questions, allow students to discuss the thought process of each item with one another or as a whole group.
Other Ways to Use:
These math review pages can also be placed in sheet protectors and used as small group work or math centers. You could even use these review problems as daily homework for your students! There are so many possibilities!
These daily spiral review and preview pages will greatly enrich your math program and help students strengthen their skills as they prepare for standardized testing. This would be a great warm-up activity for RTI or a math intervention block!
