Your 3rd grade students are going to enjoy analyzing data and solving problems when they play this colorful standards-aligned task card game that supports the following third grade math standards:

TEKS 3.8B - Solving one and two step problems involving data represented in pictographs, bar graphs, dot plots and frequency tables.

CCSS 3.MD.3: Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs.

Here is what is included!

  • Student Friendly Learning Objective Poster
  • 24 Standards-aligned Task Cards
  • Answer Key
  • Student Answer Document
  • Game Instructions (Two ways to play)
  • Game Board

Look at all the ways you can use task cards!

Task cards can be used in math stations, in a guided math or tutorial lesson, as exit tickets, as an early finisher activity, as a small table group activity or even a whole group game of four corners or Scoot! You can even use them as a homework or independent practice page. Simply choose 4 pages, then under “page sizing and handling”, choose "multiple”. For pages per sheet, select “2”; for orientation select “landscape”, then just print front to back.

No time to prep - no worries! Use the following digital activities...

  • A 24-question Google Slides drag and drop activity and answer key
  • A 24-question self checking Google Forms multiple choice activity
  • Instructions for use
  • Instructions for assigning in Google Classroom
  • Instructions for assigning outside of Google Classroom
