Black and white outlines of journal prompts! Each standard has a week's worth of journal prompts!
There are 5 journal prompts per standard on one sheet, for a total of 20 journal prompts.
Common Core Standards addressed:
3.OA.D.8
3.OA.D.9
3.OA.C.7
3.MD.A.2
Have students cut and glue these prompts into their math journals to spend more time on what counts, learning!
I suggest copying each page for the amount of students in your class, then pre-cut them, and use at the beginning or end of your math lesson as reinforcement, exit tickets, or assessment.
When teaching, it is best advised to model each journal prompt using different numbers before giving the students the actual journal prompt to complete it on their own.
This could also be used for morning work, task cards, hunts around the room, Quiz-Quiz trade game, etc.
