Description

Created as a way to spiral the Common Core Math Curriculum, these calendar pieces support students in practicing multiple concepts throughout the month. This month includes the concepts of parallel and perpendicular, subtraction across zeros, and multiplication and division fact families. Students may complete these activities as independent work or collaborative learning opportunities during Math Workshop or Guided Math. Instructions for setting up student notebooks as well as graphic organizers and support posters needed are included. Using these calendar pieces will give students multiple opportunities for practice and increase the retention rate for these concepts. They will also help you have an easy and thoroughly planned way to keep multiple math concepts active in your classroom. From Julie Nelson of Nelson-Bonn LLC.

This looks great. I hope to get all the months. There is a picture of a ship on day 25 that obscures the other items on the calendar piece. Can you tell me if the other months will have a picture like this. It rather obscures the calendar piece. I want to purchase the entire year's calendar pieces but I am concerned this will occur on these too. Can you elaborate on this for me.
