Description

This comprehensive and integrated bundle is my entire 3rd grade math curriculum for the entire year! This 3rd grade math curriculum will help you differentiate for your students and achieve top math scores. Make sure you check out the FREE preview. It shows all the 3rd grade math units along with a breakdown of all of the math lessons included within each unit. This has been aligned to Common Core and NC math standards.

I utilize guided math/math workshop to implement these math units, but this has been designed so that you can teach them how you like. Either way, you have all the components to implement a successful math curriculum and have students achieve mastery with all of the third-grade math concepts by the end of the year!

Everything is integrated so that each daily lesson is specifically aligned to that day's practice sheet, enrichment sheet, exit slip(s), and homework.

Here is everything included in each unit:

  • Teacher Notes
  • Unit Plan - Detailed Daily Lessons
  • Daily Practice Pages
  • Daily Enrichment Pages
  • Daily Exit Slips
  • Rubrics for the Exit Slips
  • Daily Homework
  • Study Guides for each Unit Test
  • Pre/Posttest with Rubrics
  • Answer Keys for everything
  • Editable, PDF, and Google making 3 different options

The units include the following:

•Addition/Subtraction: 19 days

•Graphing: 7 to 11 days

•Multiplication/Division: 28 days

•Area/Perimeter: 17 days

•Geometry: 10 days

•Fractions: 26 days

•Time: 10 days

•Rounding: 5 to 6 days

•Measurement: 5 to 8 days

The order of the units and/or lessons can be altered. Everything has an editable option. You can also add days for concepts that are difficult for your students – there is time for that.

I made sure to leave time for review at the end of the year. I always devote 4 to 6 weeks to math review, and I always feel it makes a huge difference on how well students understand the 3rd grade math curriculum along with how well they do on our end-of-grade assessments.

Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
