Description

This is the complete bundle of 3rd grade Math Missions - these are similar to escape rooms, but are no-prep for you! Just pull up the Powerpoint and hit GO! These are a great review for third grade math units and standards.

What are Math Missions?

Math missions are an escape room style game, but are created to be super easy to implement in the classroom! Each math mission centers around a 3rd grade math topic. Students will complete 6 challenges to accomplish each mission. Each challenge has 6-12 math problems for students to solve to move onto the next piece.

How does this work?
There is a Powerpoint included that has the 6 challenges laid out for students. Show the Powerpoint on a Smartboard or computer, and this can guide students as they move through the mission. Students can use the accompanying printables or work on whiteboards!

How Can I Use This Resource?

  • Whole Group: You can use this as a whole-group review for students to complete at the end of a math unit. Let them work in groups, partners, or independently as you work through the mission powerpoint together. Students can use the printable booklet or work on white boards!
  • Small Group: Let this be a whole weeks worth of small group plans! Work with students in small groups to complete the challenges as you teach each topic.
  • Independently: Let students go through the Powerpoint themselves and complete the printable booklet as an ongoing math center during a math unit.

How does the growing bundle work?

There are currently 10 math missions in the bundle - there will be a total of 11 missions when the bundle is complete. This means by purchasing now, you are already getting the current math missions at a 20% discount, but you will also get the remaining math missions for FREE as they are added.

This is my favorite resource to use during math centers. No problem is too difficult and students are able to work independently.

I love using these math missions as a way to spiral review after we've finished up a math unit and moved onto another. They are fun, engaging, and allow students to work on content that builds their skills while we move onto new material. They LOVE IT. Thanks for making it so easy for me to implement!!

My students love working on these! They find them engaging and the activities take away the "I need to get the right answer, right away" problem my group has been having.
