This packet provides 12 pages to help your students develop math skills with regard to perimeter. It is great for initial teaching and homework, small group work, remediation, self-paced study, or even seasonal packets (fall break, winter break, spring break, or summer vacation). It starts with counting units for length and width on rectangle, then adding all sides to arrive at perimeter. Then it goes on to link the same concept to rectangles without unit squares. Finally, after some practice, it applies the concept of perimeter to all polygons.
