Description

Are you looking for an interactive way to engage your students in your math lesson? These 3rd grade digital math activities are perfect for introducing topics or engaging students in a whole group math game using your interactive whiteboard! You can also assign these slides to your students using Google™ Classroom for independent practice. They can make for a great math center!

Getting students to engage with math shouldn’t be this hard!

  • ➡️ Shy students staring at their papers...waiting for someone else to answer first.
  • ➡️ That one kid confidently shouting out an answer… that’s not even close.
  • ➡️ Hands shooting up—not to give an answer, but to ask, “Can I use the restroom?”

Just because you’ve taught your math lesson doesn’t mean they *get* it...or...paid attention...

Instead of reteaching the same concept over and over, hoping it finally sticks, (or rushing along to keep up with your pacing guide, even though you *know* your students aren't proficient yet) what if your students were interacting with your math lesson?

These digital math slides:

  • ✅ Include teaching slides, so you just open and do your thing (or assign them independently)
  • ✅ Interactive, so your students are engaged (and begging for their turn!)
  • ✅ Kid-friendly...so they actually pay attention

This is a bundle of all fifteen 3rd Grade Math Google Slides Units. In all, there are 83 digital activities.

❤️ Teachers' favorite ways to use these lessons:❤️

  • Whole group lessons to introduce and practice topics
  • Whole group interactive activity with your class
  • Assign in Google™ Classroom for independent practice
  • Use as a digital math center during Guided Math

Great value
I needed something to engage my boys for math because even though we use manipulatives and movement, the books just weren't cutting it. This is great! It presents the concept in an easy to read/understand way and includes practice problems too! I project it to our whiteboard and we take turns doing them or do them all together. For the last few, they do as independent and we work through together to check their work. This has been perfect for us!

Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
