Math Stations – Spin-Its Math Stations

This is a MEGA BUNDLE of my Spin-Its Math Stations. It incorporates an ENTIRE YEAR of Spin-Its Math Stations.

These Spin-Its Math Stations are the perfect complement to your math lessons and units of study. These math stations will fit in seamlessly in your 3rd grade classroom and are completely aligned with the common core state standards. They work perfectly for your Math Stations if you teach math through a guided math or math workshop approach, or if you just use a variety of math centers in your classroom.

The best part about these Spin-Its Math Stations is the CONSISTENCY that it creates. Once your students learn how to use the Spin-Its and read the directions on the recording sheet the first time, it will be SMOOTH SAILING for the rest of the year. Consistency is KEY when you are expecting your students to work independently on an extension activity of your lesson.

These are easy to prep - just print! They are great because once you teach the procedures, students can do them all. Fabulous! However, I wish the units were linked on a title page. It would decrease the amount of scrolling I do. haha

Our first day using Spin-Its was a success. We have only used the fractions Spin-Its so we are excited to try all the other resources in this bundle. Students love them and they stay engaged. Although it does take some prep, once that part is done, I can use these for years to come. Thank you!

I have been using the product with my 3rd graders for a week now, and they have been highly engaged! It took some time to prepare, but once it was made, i am set for many weeks on end! I highly recommend this product to make your teaching life a bit easier!

I had a teammate use these with her class and after seeing how engaged her students were during math centers I had to have them to use in my own class. My students love this center.

Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
Generate measurement data by measuring lengths using rulers marked with halves and fourths of an inch. Show the data by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in appropriate units-whole numbers, halves, or quarters.
