Are you looking for a 3rd grade math review of geometry in preparation for the state test? These task cards are a great way to help your students review geometry questions learned throughout the school year in preparation for the math state test. This product includes 20 task cards and answer keys, and are aligned with all Next Generation Learning Standards (NGLS) within the domain, Geometry. This is a great tool to practice 3rd grade math skills that includes reasoning with shapes and their attributes and partitioning shapes into parts with equal areas, and check for understanding.

Print and cut-out individual cards for students to use in centers, partnerships, or independently. Task cards can also be given to students by page (4 on a page) to solve. Laminate for durability and longevity. I love to print, cut-out, and laminate for use. I often use these cards as a center or station during rotations for practice and reinforcement.

You have the option of printing in color or black and white.

Geometry

• Recognize and classify polygons based on the number of sides and vertices. Identify shapes that do not belong to one of the given subcategories (3.G.1)
• Partition shapes into parts with equal areas. Express the area of each part as a unit fraction of the whole. (3.G.2)
