What others say

"This is a great resource! I appreciate how the assessments are broken down by standard and I can easily and quickly check their mastery of the standard we are learning. "

"Working virtually makes it even more necessary to have lots of variety of resources on the fly. Teaching math intervention, I need to have resources to fit into the gaps all the way down from grade level to the beginning of math. Tanya's bundles make that possible."

Description

Digital and print copies of standards based math assessments in one place! Use these resources for math test prep, math review, math practice, and during math centers!

This resource is designed for you to track the mastery level of each student in your class within your math curriculum. These mini math assessments build in complexity and assess every level of understanding of a particular math skill. Use this resource with confidence knowing that each assessment is aligned to curriculum.

Included you will find the print and digital version of each assessment, along with the teacher charts for each standard that provide teacher support for reteaching.

What’s included in this resource?

There is a digital and print version for every assessment. Use the format that works best for you and your students. The digital assessments are self-checking (they will automatically grade for you, but must be used with a Google Classroom account) and editable. Change/delete/add questions if you choose within the DIGITAL version. Each print version includes an answer key for quick grading.

You will also receive a Teacher Chart for every assessment. This chart outlines the complexity level of each question, the possible misconceptions made by students that answered the question incorrectly, and which standards/skills to reteach. Use this chart when you need to pull students for small group instruction. They can retake the assessment after reteaching.

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
