Description
I searched all over for something for my students' math journals that could keep them (and me) a little more organized. When I couldn't find what I needed, I decided to make it. That's how the original math tabbed dividers that are aligned with TEKS Resource came about. You can find them in my store.
My Texas school district adopted a new curriculum two years ago that put us in a tail spin. If you know that Module Math I'm talking about, then you know.
I thought all of the work I had done with interactive math journals for so many years was down the drain. But...hey...pivot and adapt, right?
You can use a math journal with this curriculum. These dividers are again a labor of love. Although they are newer in my store, I've personally used these (as have my 3rd grade team) for the past two years. Just like before, the students love them and I think they look good for my T-TESS.
Included in the download are composition book-sized tabbed dividers for each of the 7 modules in Module Math and a 'Resources' tab (3 different versions). I use the Resources tab to include extra resources for my students at the front of their journals. I include such things as a hundreds chart, a place value chart and the STAAR Reference sheet.
Each divider includes the module number and title, vocabulary for the module, the TEKS that are covered in the module and a graphic for little brains to connect to the module. The download contains easy to print black-line dividers with tabs that stick of the composition book making the math journal the most exciting journal students have ever created! The dividers fit in composition notebooks and have dotted lines for cutting.
This resource is not editable.
This resource follows the 3rd Grade Eureka TEKS/Texas Edition Curriculum.
