Since I teach virtually, I've adapted this resource so that my students can click and drag the "cut pieces" to sort them, instead of gluing them in order. It's helped to solidify the idea that students should be able to fully explain their reasoning behind WHY they chose a specific operation and how they answered the word problem.

This was a good way for us as a class to think of the steps in regards to figuring out how to answer multi-steps. Cutting and pasting took too much time. We ended up numbering them step by step to help with time.
