Description

Third grade end of year math review! Daily math challenge slides with 3 problems per slide to help students review all math concepts.

I use this as a daily "warm up" with my students every day before our math lesson. Students attempt to answer the 3 problems on the slide. If they get them correct, they get to color in a box for that math topic on their recording sheet! Easy way for me to see what they know, and what they don't. If they don't get the problem correct, they simply do not get to color in a box that day.

My students have looked forward to the challenge every single day and they love the randomness of the questions! They never know what they are going to get- area? geometry? multiplication? They love the suspense!

The concepts covered are 3 digit addition and subtraction, multiplication, division, two step word problems, rounding, graphing, fractions, area, perimeter, time, money, and geometry!

Great end of year review for 3rd grade or a beginning of year review for 4th grade! Challenge your 2nd graders and see how ready they are for 3rd! Includes 22 challenge slides and 10 blank slides if you choose to add your own problems.

I am actually using this for the begining of the year daily warmups with my fourth grade class. So many students and families who feel math was a struggle last year and this is perfect to spiral in for the first month of school. I love that there are blank templates too so I can make my own.

Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
Multiply side lengths to find areas of rectangles with whole-number side lengths in the context of solving real world and mathematical problems, and represent whole-number products as rectangular areas in mathematical reasoning.
