Description
This is a bundle of 3rd grade word problems that target many of the major grade 3 math standards. There are three separate sets in this bundle: Fall, Winter, and Spring.
The problems include:
- rounding
- fractions
- area and perimeter
- elapsed time
- multiplication
- division
- addition and subtraction
- two-step problems involving all 4 operations
Each set includes 20 problems (60 total) in 4 different formats:
Math Journal Prompts
Printed with 5 per page to cut and pass out so students can glue them into their journals and then solve in the space below.
Half-page Worksheet
Includes space for students to do their work right on the page. These can be stapled into a word problems booklet or used as separate worksheets.
Whole Page
These can be projected or printed out for whole group instruction and solving together. You can also print and hang them around the room for a math walk. Give students clip boards and sticky notes and send the around to solve problems. They can stick their answer up on the wall next to the problem.
Digital Word Problems
All of the word problems have also been prepared for digital use in Easel. They can be assigned through your online learning platform for use on any device.
Answer keys are included.
