Description
Station 1- Choose Love not War (30 facts)
Students will compete in pairs to see who has the higher product. Students will divide the cards equally between themselves and then flip one card from the top at the same time. Each student must multiply their factors and say their product aloud. The partners compare products to see which is greater. The partner with the greater product takes the cards from that round. Play goes on until one partner has all of the factor cards.
Station 2- It’s True Love (8 word problems)
Students will solve a multi-step word problem and tell if the answer is “true love” (correct). Space is provided for students to show their work. Student should write if the given answer was true or not.
Station 3- I’m Heart Broken (6 number lines)
Students will fix the broken numerical patterns(number lines). Students should subtract to find the pattern and then fill in the broken hearts with their missing number. Blanks are provided for the numbers.
Station 4- You Complete Me (12 fact family cards)
Students will complete the fact family. There is a factor or product missing from the fact family that needs to be found. The fact family should have four equations. (Answers will vary.)
*All questions have been put into boxes so they can be used as assessments or centers. For centers, cards can be printed onto cardstock for durability. For assessments, students can use recording sheets provided or write on the cards if you give them the stations as a packet.
I hope you LOVE these stations for your students!
