WHERE AM I EVER GOING TO USE THIS?
I'll bet you have. Well, I decided to gather up some interesting formulas that could be used to show students some of the unusual places that equations/formulas show up.
You may choose to use these as a reference, or you could use them as a group activity. For example, you could put the students in small groups and have them manipulate the equations by solving for a different variable. The list has been divided into 7 groups so that you can use a different list in each student group. You may also choose to introduce the complete list over a period of time.

This is an in-depth set of math and science formulas. This will be a great aid for knowing what information to research, since all formulas aren't in every science and math book across middle school and high school textbooks. This can also be an interesting investigation tool for those students we have who are always a step or two ahead of the class.
