Description
This is an assessment that is aligned with the 4.OA.5 common core math standard.
The assessment includes 10 questions:
-10 problems on the OA.5 standard broken down as:
(6) questions on number patterns that increase and decrease.
(1) question on an input/output chart.
(3) questions on geometric shape patterns.
An answer key is included in the document. The questions were designed in such a way as to what a student would see on their end of grade test.
This assessment would go well with my other product that covers the learning of this standard: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/4OA5-SMART-Board-Lessons-50-Slides-1-week-of-instruction-1043739
Please let me know how I can improve these for you. Thank you for your interest in my product!

Thank you
Love your products and how I can still use them for the NC curriculum! :)
Hey I'm glad you like it. I want to convert all the smartboard files to powerpoint. I think smartboard is dying out.
Thanks
Great assessment.

Generate a number or shape pattern that follows a given rule. Identify apparent features of the pattern that were not explicit in the rule itself. For example, given the rule “Add 3” and the starting number 1, generate terms in the resulting sequence and observe that the terms appear to alternate between odd and even numbers. Explain informally why the numbers will continue to alternate in this way.
