Are you looking for an engaging way to review 4th grade math standards?? In this escape room resource, students are given the challenge to solve 5 clues that will give them a code to open a lock and retrieve the stolen Crown Jewels! I use this as a mid-year review and my students absolutely LOVE it!!
Each clue has 12 task cards to solve (for a total of 60 task cards) reviewing the following 4th grade topics:
place value
number patterns
expanded form
balancing equations
rounding
estimating sums & differences
factors & multiples
prime numbers
GCF & LCM
long division
multiplication (2x2 & 3x2 digits)
estimating quotients
bar modeling word problems
money word problems
mean, median, mode, range
probability as a fraction
adding & subtracting fractions
fractions x a whole number
fraction word problems
simplifying fractions
fraction bar models
converting mixed numbers to
improper fractions
I've included an answer key, teacher's guide, directions with pictures, suggestions on what to buy (blacklight markers and a word lock), and all the printed materials you will need to create student packets, task cards, rules, etc!
