Description
Each of these 32 Word Problem Task Cards has a different math story problem. Students completing these task cards will use addition and subtraction with regrouping as they solve these problems. Answers can be expressed in standard form, or for added review students can be asked to answer using either written or expanded form.
An answer key is included so students can check their work. You may want to have students show their work on notebook paper. For additional structure there is a FREE blank recording sheet template on my TPT site where the students can write the task card number they are on as well as have space to work out their answer on the sheet itself. These cards work well at centers, stations,in a scoot game or as a whole group search and solve activity.
