Description
This tool is a FREEBIE for any teacher who wants to offer their students a support for classifying shapes in Geometry class.
This product includes all of the shapes that are studied in Bridges Math curriculum for 4th Grade Unit 5 Module 2. This could be used Session 4 where students are asked to immerse themselves in the language of geometry and review shape names, terms, and angles.
This tool includes classification for the following shapes:
- Rectangle
- Square
- Parallelogram
- Rhombus
- Trapezoid
- Triangle
- Right Triangle
- Right Isosceles Triangle
- Isosceles Triangle
- Scalene Triangle
- Equilateral Triangle
- Quadrilateral
- Polygon
This product can be used for any Geometry class that classifies or studies the shapes mentioned above, but please note that it was created with the Bridges Math curriculum specifically in mind.
This would be a great product to hand out to students to refer back to when classifying shapes (printable), glue into their notebook and refer back to throughout the unit (interactive notebook), or even blow up to poster size and displayed in a math corner/bulletin board. What you do with it is up to you, but I hope it helps your students to see the different attributes of different shapes.
This is my very first TpT product so if you have any trouble with it, please let me know.
Happy teaching!
