This unit covers both geography standards for Georgia’s Performance Standards. The unit includes an interactive journal page for each location and 2 assessments (one for natural physical features and one for man-made physical features. Includes Teacher Keys.
Included topics:
SS4G1 The student will be able to locate important physical and man-made features in the United States.
a. Locate major physical features of the United States; include the Atlantic Coastal
Plain, the Great Plains, the Continental Divide, the Great Basin, Death Valley, the
Gulf of Mexico, the St. Lawrence River, and the Great Lakes.
b. Locate major man-made features; include New York City, NY; Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; and the Erie Canal.

I like the way this is broken down into regions. This is perfect for my class. The amount of information that I am able to teach them is just perfect in the amount of time I have alloted for social studies each day.
