Description
I created a supplementary quiz to compliment each chapter of the Go Math 4th grade curriculum. Each quiz is modeled closely after the "Mid-Chapter Checkpoint" assessment found in the corresponding chapter of the Go Math student edition. All question types are identical, although the questions themselves are different.
Most importantly, I designed these quizzes to be VISUALLY similar to the versions found in students' textbooks, enhancing students' ability to retrieve the necessary information from their long-term memory. As a result, I have seen my students become more confident in their mathematical abilities, and their test scores have skyrocketed!
I created these quizzes because I LOVE the idea of the Mid-Chapter Checkpoint, but most years I have found that students need a little additional practice before they are ready to move on. I have been teaching with Go Math for the past 5 years and have found these quizzes to be so incredibly useful in so many different ways! They can be used as study guides, morning work, homework, or even used for quiz retakes. My favorite way to use them is by assigning the Mid-Chapter Checkpoint as a study guide, reviewing it together in class, then giving this quiz the next day.
I hope you find these quizzes to be just as useful in your own classroom! Check back soon for more 4th Grade Go Math Quizzes! :)

My students enjoyed using this resource to relearn and review these concepts in a deeper, more meaningful way!
very good resource for my fourth graders that aligns perfectly with the go math curriculum
Good resource for remediation and skill practice.
Excellent resource to support students. It was engaging and supported student learning.
great resource
Love how closely this follows the format of the one in the book. Makes it easy to use one for review and one for a grade, or this one to reassess if needed.
This is a great additional resource to go along with the Go Math series.
So much easier to use this rather than reinvent the wheel!

Explain why a fraction 𝘢/𝘣 is equivalent to a fraction (𝘯 × 𝘢)/(𝘯 × 𝘣) by using visual fraction models, with attention to how the number and size of the parts differ even though the two fractions themselves are the same size. Use this principle to recognize and generate equivalent fractions.
