"Loved this escape room! It was so easy to set up and use. I printed it all out and put each clue n locked boxes with a combination lock that the students had to figure out the code for. The last box had a prize. They loved it! "

This resource was engaging and easy to use in my classroom! The directions were clear, and my students stayed actively involved throughout the lesson. It required minimal prep, which is always a plus. I especially liked how it supported most of the standards I was needing, and it worked well for my 4th students. I will definitely be using this again and recommend it to other teachers!

I love this for getting my students engaged in an activity that was both mobile (I used 2 stations in the hallway and 2 in the classroom) and promoted teamwork. For my class, I divided them into 4 very specifically selected groups, each team having at least one top learner and one lower learner. This worked very well to promote teamwork. However....because I am a mystery novel reader, I found the end to the activity sadly lacking. This is a "Who Dunit" with no "Who DID IT???" at the end. I am working with another member of our staff to create lock boxes (we can set the combinations) and a final ending story to make this what the kids all asked for --- a completion!
