The lesson starts with a review of the definition of an angle and the different types of angles (acute, right, and obtuse). This PowerPoint covers examples of solving problems to find unknown angle measurements. At the conclusion of the lesson, there is a quick formative thumbs up and thumbs down assessment that can be used to gauge student mastery of the learning target. Also, the final two slides have a couple of missing angle mystery word problems to further assess student learning.
