There are a number of ways to use this word problem PowerPoint in your classroom. Keep in mind that students will need paper and pencil to figure out answers for this PowerPoint resource.

As a Teaching Tool:

As you teach word problem strategies, ask students to come to the PowerPoint presentation, and use the strategy to demonstrate how to find the answer on the board/wall. Click once for the question, click again to see the answer.

For Review:

Divide your class into two teams. Go back and forth giving each team every other slide. Each team must work together to find the answer, as well as tell the strategy they used. Click to check the correct answer.

For Evaluation:
