Met expectations
Great value
Standards-aligned
This PBL bundle is absolutely fantastic! Each project—Build a Zoo, Cupcakes Galore, and the Quilt Project—gave my students meaningful, hands-on ways to apply 4th grade math skills. The real-world scenarios kept them motivated, and I loved how naturally the standards were woven into every task. The mix of PDF and Google Slides made it easy to use for both independent and group work, and the low-prep design was a lifesaver during busy weeks. My students were excited, focused, and truly *thinking* through the math. This is one of the best PBL resources I’ve used—highly recommend for anyone wanting deeper math engagement without the extra prep!

My son loves these projects! He is very driven to develop the zoo for example, so we spend an hour + on this every day and without any struggle. Time just flies! I love the variety of math skills included, that it includes creative and critical thinking, writing and reading as well. Cannot recommend this enough for homeschooling.

I used these during summer camp for math enrichment. I chose one project to use each week and the kids looked forward to working on it daily. Their favorite, of course, was the cupcake one! The quilting one was a little more difficult for my kids - a few in my group were struggling with the cutting, but they enjoyed the math parts!

Know relative sizes of measurement units within one system of units including km, m, cm; kg, g; lb, oz.; l, ml; hr, min, sec. Within a single system of measurement, express measurements in a larger unit in terms of a smaller unit. Record measurement equivalents in a two-column table. For example, know that 1 ft is 12 times as long as 1 in. Express the length of a 4 ft snake as 48 in. Generate a conversion table for feet and inches listing the number pairs (1, 12), (2, 24), (3, 36),...
Use the four operations to solve word problems involving distances, intervals of time, liquid volumes, masses of objects, and money, including problems involving simple fractions or decimals, and problems that require expressing measurements given in a larger unit in terms of a smaller unit. Represent measurement quantities using diagrams such as number line diagrams that feature a measurement scale.
Apply the area and perimeter formulas for rectangles in real world and mathematical problems. For example, find the width of a rectangular room given the area of the flooring and the length, by viewing the area formula as a multiplication equation with an unknown factor.
