Description
This math packet contains 16 pages of 4th grade math skills, primarily focusing on place value concepts and basic multiplication facts. The pages offer an opportunity to spiral and practice previously taught skills. I also introduce and practice basic fractions and finding multiples when reviewing multiplication facts. This helps the students to understand the connection between multiplication facts and multiples (skip counting by the number they are multiplying by). I use these pages as homework for my students but they would make and excellent review for all students. These could also be used as morning work, intervention or extension depending on the level of the students.
The following standards are addressed throughout the review:
4.NBT.A.1 - Recognize that in a multi-digit whole number, a digit in one place represents ten times what it represents in the place to its right.
4.NBT.A.2 - Read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form. Compare two multi-digit numbers based on meanings of digits in each place, using >,=,< to record the results of comparisons.
4.NBT.A.3 - Use place value understanding to round multi-digit whole numbers to any place
4.NBT.B.5 - Multiply a whole numbers of up to 4 digits by one digit number
4.OA.B.4 - Recognize that a whole number is a multiple of each of its factors. Determine whether a given whole number between 1-100 is a multiple of a given one digit number.

My students able to use this to help them understand the concept deeper. It was easy to provide and explained simply.
This is a great resource to use for review at the start of 5th grade! I liked the amount of questions on each page and that a review of the concept was presented at the top of the page. PLEASE MAKE MORE!!!!
Excellent resource
Good review for place value and number sense.
I used these as a quick informal assessment to see where my kids were starting and now I will be using them in my small group instruction.
