Description
Each of these 5 quizzes are 10 questions. 8 of the questions are multiple choice and 2 of them are free response. They are review of all the previous content taught and progressively add more concepts with each quiz. They are designed using the Texas TEKS, but math is math.
I wrote these quizzes to allow our 4th grade math teachers a chance to assess all skills covered each week in a quick but aligned way. When they are used as a grade each week, they allow the student's averages to accurately reflect the students progress on all skills, not just the current skill being taught. They prevent any surprises when state assessments come around and students have forgotten many of the concepts previously taught.
These quizzes allow you to continuously collect data on where your students are struggling on previously taught material.
These 5 quizzes focus on whole number place value to the millions, decimal place value to the hundredths place, addition and subtraction of whole numbers and decimals, estimation of sums, differences, products, and quotients, multiplication arrays, multiplication and division problem solving, fact families, and multiplying by 10 & 100.
I will be posting another 5 quizzes soon. If you like what you see, please pass the word to your friends.
