This Digital, Build a Rocket resource is an engaging, creative activity to supplement Pearson MyView, Grade 4 - Unit 3 Week 3. This no-prep resource focuses on weekly vocabulary, word study, and language and conventions practice.
It is great for:
- An Overview of Unit 3, Week 3 Skills
- The Progress Check Up for Unit 3, Week 3
- The Unit 3 Assessment Test
This resources includes 18 questions and covers the following skills (6 questions from each skill):
- Weekly Vocabulary from: Trombone Shorty
- Word Study Focus: Final Stable Syllables
- Language and Conventions: Irregular Verbs

How can you use this resource?
- As a formative assessment
- Included in a task list
- Literacy Center Focus
- For individual or partner practice
- Whole Class game for all students to play at the same time.
- A Fun homework assignment
This product is in Google Slides and can be assigned in Google Classroom Guaranteed Engagement! Students choose between one of three answers and get immediate feedback. If the answer is correct they get to add a part to their rocket. If the answer is incorrect, they are referred back to the original slide to answer again. Students work until they have answered all 18 questions correctly and have added all parts to their rocket. A “Student Recording Sheet” is provided for student accountability.
