Description
Provide students with fun and engaging test prep strategies with my version of an ESCAPE ROOM experience involving the Bermuda Triangle! Teams will be presented with a situation from which they need to escape by solving a series of standards-based Language Arts challenges. I often struggle with finding test prep activities that are truly effective and limit kids just mindlessly going through the motions. “When I watch my students work through these purposeful, meaningful activities, I know they are reviewing and solidifying key ideas and strategies.” Includes all activity directions and preparation notes, a student scenario with activity journal and clues, a close reading story on the Bermuda Triangle, a main idea and detail activity, a vocabulary context clue stack it up, a finding evidence color code, a language puzzle, a comprehension check word search, and all answer keys!
