These weekly math skills bundles were designed after realizing that most math curriculums were not fully preparing our students for the rigorous courses, they would encounter in 5th grade, Middle School and beyond.

Teaching these common core aligned skills that are designed to build upon each other will lay a critical foundation for any new skills your students are learning.

I start each skill with the Pre-Assessment. I then introduce an interactive notebook entry, a skills video, and an introduction to the homework. I then give the mid-week checkpoint, and then the end of skill assessment.

I allow students to re-take skills quizzes to increase the percentage of mastery. The Homework checks, mid-week checkpoint, and final quiz help me determine my small math groups.
