Here is a 4th grade word problem craft where students will solve word problems in order to build a train craft!

How does this work?

1. Students solve the word problems (students can work independently or in pairs)

2. As students solve the problems, they identify which craft pieces have the correct answers.

3. Once all the problems have been solved, students color and cut those craft pieces.

4. Last, students will use the correct pieces to put their craft together!

This is a fun, self-checking activity that combines math practice with creativity and fine motor skills.
