Description

Virtual or face-to-face. Unsure of how to reward your students for completing assignments or want to encourage them to participate? Here is a group of 4 png files that I call "badges". These badges can be added to a virtual "sash" or badge collector that the student can show off to their parents or friends. Each week a new badge can be earned depending on what you are teaching or just want to acknowledge a students hard work or communication skills.

Another Science related collection available with 56 badges.

PLEASE NOTE:
The file name is the badge explanation: Acoustics.LovesMusic = student that loves music. Adaptation.AdjustWell = student adjusts well to their surroundings, Astronaut.OutOfThisWorld = student has ideas out of this world, Audiology.Listener = a good listener, AuroraBorealis.GiftedArtist= no matter the subject, artists can be recognized for their hard work.

1- Assign a blank "Badge Collector" either in Google Classroom or however you disperse assignments . Create a blank Google Slide with your classroom theme and assign a copy to each student.

2- Do not put a due date but have the students open slide so that they can obtain a copy and it is now available in their Drive that either you or the student may access anytime.

3- Modify the title page to fit whatever you'd like the students to know about the "badge collector/sash".

4- When distributing the badges, either e-mail them directly to the students and show them how to add the image to the collector.

5 -OR- you can go directly into their drive and open the collector and place the image for them [I did this for 150+ students and it took roughly an hour, maybe a little longer].

Download the files to your computer and either upload to a Google Drive folder or keep them on your PC for easy accessibility.
