Description

This resource follows well with the Packets and Google Slides/ PowerPoints that are on my page!

I thought to have them on Google Forms as well to minimize the paper grading and it is a great independent work resource and something to have students work on if there is a Sub or change in the schedule.

And even for those days were the day or class period is just hard to get through but you still want a good learning and practice day!

I have used these with my students when I have had sub or an emergency and did not want to leave just busy work! I have used it for independent practice, just to get different modes. They have enjoyed using the PowerPoints/Google Slides with whiteboards, the packets as review and the Google Forms as well !!

I hope this helps !

Use a pair of perpendicular number lines, called axes, to define a coordinate system, with the intersection of the lines (the origin) arranged to coincide with the 0 on each line and a given point in the plane located by using an ordered pair of numbers, called its coordinates. Understand that the first number indicates how far to travel from the origin in the direction of one axis, and the second number indicates how far to travel in the direction of the second axis, with the convention that the names of the two axes and the coordinates correspond (e.g., ๐˜น-axis and ๐˜น-coordinate, ๐˜บ-axis and ๐˜บ-coordinate).
Represent real world and mathematical problems by graphing points in the first quadrant of the coordinate plane, and interpret coordinate values of points in the context of the situation.
