This 5.NBT.4 Common Core aligned sorting activity allows students an opportunity to practice rounding decimals to a given place value (whole, tenth, hundredth, or thousandth). Students will determine if each rounding statement is true or false. Then, they will place the card with the correct sign (True or False). There are 24 cards in all. An answer key is included.

These can be used:

- whole class (using one at a time for instruction or discussion)

- review (for standardized testing)
