This 5th Grade 15 week daily math review/test prep was designed to keep math concepts fresh and to prepare students for the end of year test. All (270) questions were taken from previous tests and practice tests so students can familiarize themselves with questions they may encounter. I have spent the last 6 years tweaking this format and to show proof that using them work.
My first year as a 5th grade math teacher I took students that got 34% proficiency the year before to 53% and the 2nd year to 82%...this current year on my students most recent NWEA/Map test they showed 146% growth, well above the other 5th grade math teacher at my school who showed only 63% growth who was not using my Daily Math Review/Quiz system (she started using my method shortly after and her most recent NWEA/Map score went from 63% to 201% growth.)

o 4 days’ worth of questions each week (average 3 or more questions per day)
o 1 weekly quiz each week (5 questions plus bonus question)

o Great mix of real test questions students will encounter in their end of year 5th grade math test.
o Condensed format (to SAVE paper) while still providing plenty of space for students to show their work.
o 2-sided copy and day of the week labeled (Monday-Thursday) makes it easy for students to use as well as keep number of copies required down (saving teachers not only paper but also copies)
o 270 practice test questions
· 253 Slide PowerPoint should you prefer to use a PowerPoint and not print the worksheets.
o I did my best to make sure the test questions had large font so students even the back row would be able to see the questions.
o Because of the large font many of the slides have only 1 or 2 questions per so you will need to switch from slide to slide to show 3 questions each day.
