Finding TEKS aligned task cards for your fifth grade math class doesn't have to be hard! This set of editable task cards is created specifically for the TEKS. Careful research has been done to make sure that each task card not only aligns to the Texas TEKS but also is similar to the rigor expected on the STAAR test.
Each set includes multiple-choice questions and open-ended questions similar to the new STAAR item types. Approximately 25% of the task cards are new item type styles similar to the planned open-ended ratio for the 2023 STAAR test.

What features does this bundle have?
The entire text of every question is completely editable! YES--you read that right, you can change the wording of all text on the task cards!
Because the text is editable it can be copied and pasted. This means you can:
- Copy the questions into Word, ExamView, Eduphoria, TFAR, or any other test authoring platform that you use.
- Create TEKS aligned exit tickets for your students quickly and easily.
- Change the wording of problems to customize them for your students.
Each topic comes with two files:
- An easy print PDF to make task cards quickly
- An editable PowerPoint file that you can use to make changes and copy-paste
Easel Assessments:
- Many of the questions are included as an Easel Assessment
- Easel Assessments are a tool created by Teachers Pay Teachers that you can use to assign these task cards as a self-checking assessment for your students
- Easel Assessments works directly with Google Classroom and can be linked to within any learning management system
A note about diagrams:
- All the diagrams, pictures and tables have been saved as PNGs. That means you cannot easily edit the diagrams. They can be copied and pasted into your other programs.
BONUS: A bonus label file is included to organize your task cards in envelopes or photo boxes.
