Description

The Spring Math Goofy Glyph for 5th grade an activity that students can use to hone their abilities in mathematics while putting together a fun art project that you can showcase on your classroom wall. Whether your students answer the questions right or wrong will dictate the way their glyphs look in this potentially silly activity. They will end up with a girl, a boy, or a robot dressed in different types of spring clothes! The math problems are designed for children in the 5th grade and are aligned with math standards for fifth grade mathematics.

Math concepts covered:

  • add, subtract, and multiply decimals
  • multiply multi-digit numbers
  • divide multi-digit

At the back of this booklet are templates that your students can use to help design their glyphs; otherwise, they can choose to create their own artwork.

Also at the back of this book is a graph that you can use to show how the students answered different questions from the glyph in a visual manner.

This is a detailed glyph, and some students will require more help than others to complete it. Make sure to check out the preview to see if it is appropriate for your students.

All artwork is original and created by myself.
