Need a hands-on way to review decimal operations that keeps 6th graders focused and thinking? This 6th Grade Decimal Operations Math Cube provides structured, skill-based practice with adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing decimals across a variety of interactive stations.
Each face of the cube offers a different review activity, allowing students to practice decimal computation with increasing precision and accuracy. Tasks are designed to be straightforward and procedural, making this cube ideal for fluency practice, review, or test prep without overwhelming students.
This resource works well for math centers, small groups, early finishers, intervention, or whole-class rotations and can be reused throughout the year.
Skills Covered
- Add decimals with different place values
- Subtract decimals with regrouping
- Multiply multi-digit decimals
- Divide decimals by whole numbers and decimals
- Apply place value reasoning for accurate computation
- Build fluency with mixed decimal operations
Directions:
- First, you will print each of the 6 activities for each student.
- Students will complete each of the activities for a comprehensive review using the directions on the top of each page.
- Then, the students will color the pictures.
- After all the pictures are colored, students will cut and assemble the cubes. More details for assembly are included.
