✨ Standards-Based IEP Goals ✨
Written for students who are learning to solve one-step equations with addition and subtraction, the suggested IEP goal aligns with the following standards:
- Solve real-world and mathematical problems by writing and solving equations of the form x + p = q and px = q for cases in which p, q and x are all non-negative rational numbers. (CCSS 6.EE.B.7)
- Model and solve one-variable, one-step equations (TEKS 6.10A)
- Solve one-step linear equations (Virginia SOL 6.PFA.3)
✨ Progress Monitoring with Task Cards ✨
Flexible assessment is a breeze with the 40 task cards included in this resource. Each of the 40 tasks is designed to measure mastery of the IEP goal. The simple layout is age-appropriate for middle school students (without distracting fonts or clip art). Once printed and laminated, you’ll reach for these task cards over and over again for baseline assessment and progress monitoring.
✨ Easy Data Collection ✨
Easily track student progress with two options for data collection:
- A Google Sheet (for teachers who track data digitally)
- A printable data collection sheet (for teachers who prefer paper)
The Google Sheets tracker automatically calculates accuracy when you enter the number correct and the number of trials. (A basic working knowledge of Google Sheets is assumed.)
