    • Determine the fraction from a scenario to determine the likelihood.
    • Reading and creating a Frequency Table

  • Probability with Protractors
    • Part 1: Directions: For each set, record the probability of getting each color. Make sure the probability is written as a fraction.
    • Part 2: Directions: Complete a frequency table for the frequency of each color that includes all 6 sets.
    • Part 3: Directions: Answer the following questions by referring back to part 1.
    • Cut-Outs of Protractors

  • Probability with Spinning Pennies
    • Part 1: Directions: Each group will be given a penny to spin. Determine the likelihood for each scenario (Unlikely, Even Chance, Likely).
    • Part 2: Directions: Each group will have 10 minutes to take turns spinning the penny. Create a frequency table recording the outcome of each spin.
    • Part 3: Directions: Determine the likelihood of getting a heads of tails by referring back to part 2. (Unlikely, Even Chance, Likely).
    • Part 4: Directions: Answer the following questions by referring back to the previous parts. Explain your answers with evidence from your data and experience.
