This file is a PDF document. A Google Docs link is provided. Please be sure to make a copy of the Google Doc and save the copy in your own Google Drive. This resource is only editable in Google Docs once you make a copy.

Videos are NOT included in this resource. My lesson videos follow along perfectly with these guided notes sheets! They also work great with my practice sheets, exit tickets, and warm up sheets that are included in this resource! Checkout this unit's videos in my store.

PLEASE NOTE: This is newly updated with a more reasonable price point and all topics in one large file! This will be so much easier to print and go compared to my previous unit listed.

I used this item in my own 6th grade math classroom! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me on TpT or via email at luckyinmath@gmail.com :)

Recognize a statistical question as one that anticipates variability in the data related to the question and accounts for it in the answers. For example, “How old am I?” is not a statistical question, but “How old are the students in my school?” is a statistical question because one anticipates variability in students’ ages.
Understand that a set of data collected to answer a statistical question has a distribution which can be described by its center, spread, and overall shape.
Recognize that a measure of center for a numerical data set summarizes all of its values with a single number, while a measure of variation describes how its values vary with a single number.
