✅Monitor students as they work, and ask guiding questions when they seem stuck.
✅Debrief the task as a class and share what was learned.
Discovery tasks effectively provide a way to facilitate meaningful classroom discourse. Your students will be thinking, learning, and discussing mathematical concepts.
Alternatively, you could use these tasks to review concepts that your students have previously learned, although they better serve as introductory tasks!
