Description

Christmas Math Goofy Glyph is a fun, no-prep activity that helps students strengthen key 8th-grade math skills while creating an art project perfect for holiday displays. As students solve each math problem, their answers determine how their goofy Christmas glyph will look—whether they build a sleigh full of Christmas items or a mine cart packed with quirky miners and supplies!

Math concepts covered:

  • Linear equation with parentheses
  • Solving for x
  • combining like terms

Students will love the creative twist, and you’ll appreciate the built-in review and easy prep that make this Christmas glyph perfect for warm-ups, stations, sub plans, or holiday fun. Included in this resource are optional templates students can use to design their glyphs, as well as a class graph that lets you visually compare how students answered each question.
