  • Lesson 6 - Weathering Erosion and Deposition

C.6.E.6.1 - Describe and give examples of ways in which Earth's surface is built up and torn down by physical and chemical weathering, erosion, and deposition.

C.6.E.6.2 - Recognize that there are a variety of different landforms on Earth's surface such as coastlines, dunes, rivers, mountains, glaciers, deltas, and lakes and relate these landforms as they apply to Florida.

It gave my students something to do in a center rotation during success time. Success time in my school is a 30 minute block where all grade levels can hone in on standards, skills, and strategies that students didn't master when taught. Can also be used as a review. This helps them to retain information taught throughout the year in preparation for state testing. I will also add that during this time should not be worksheets or textbooks and should be hands-on learning with collaboration with peers.
