These 10 Connect Four games are activities intended for 8th grade math classrooms and focus on a wide range of math concepts, including numbers and operations, algebra, geometry, and probability. Each game is played in small groups or partners (2-6 players). All games include a printable and digital Google slides option.

This product includes 10 different Connect Four games for 8th grade math. There is a game for each of the following topics.
(1) Add and Subtract Rational Numbers
(2) Multiply and Divide Rational Numbers
(3) Real Numbers and Monomials
(4) Solving Equations
(5) Multi-Step Equations
(6) Systems of Equations
(7) Triangles and the Pythagorean Theorem
(8) Special Right Triangles
(9) Probability
(10) Area, Volume, and Surface Area
Each game includes a Rules of Play and Instructions sheet, 6 game boards, 16 playing cards, and 4 answer sheets for students to record their work.
In the Connect Four game, students flip over a playing card and must solve the problem on the card. Once a student gets their answer, they must cover up that answer on their board. The first person to get four in a row wins the game.
These games are great as a small group activities or as math centers.
